When this client came to work with me, she was working very hard, trading her time for money, which meant she wasn’t able to focus on the things that would get her out of the vicious cycle she was in – one that was keeping her from growing her business and having the life she wanted. This client is incredible at giving value to her audience. She consistently shows up through her podcast, daily on Instagram, and with regular high-value free challenges.
Whilst my client was making money, she was undercharging and overdelivering. She knew what she was capable of, recognised the potential she had, and was ready to be supported to make it happen. Read until the end.
Mindset:
One of the first patterns I supported my client in becoming aware of was her tendency to overgive and overwork. Her desire to help others often looked like undercharging and giving far more of her time than her clients were paying for. This left her feeling undervalued and meant she was prioritising others over herself and her business. I guided her to see that not putting her own needs and business first wasn’t sustainable. I also helped her realise that by focusing on making her business more profitable, she could create a much greater impact – whether that was through charitable donations or continuing to offer valuable free content for those who couldn’t yet afford her paid services. Although this client had done therapy and some mindset work before, together we made daily mindset practices a new non-negotiable. This helped her rewire her thinking to consistently seek out the positives and opportunities around her. I also introduced her to tapping (EFT), which has become a regular part of her daily routine.
Energy:
Something I often ask my clients during sessions when they are making a decision is: What is your body telling you?
When we first started working together, this client was so busy that being still felt impossible. I encouraged her to do the uncomfortable – close her eyes, return to her breath, and become present. Through this practice, she began to release much of the discomfort that she had been subconsciously avoiding by over working. She was able to experience safety and security in the moment. Like many high-achievers, she was operating from the belief that “success comes from hard work” and was sacrificing herself in pursuit of her next level. Together, we flipped the script. She committed to doing what initially felt counterproductive – prioritising her physical health. She started going to the gym regularly, which helped her complete stress cycles. As a result, when she returned to her money-making activities, she had a clearer mind and was therefore far executing the strategy with far better precision.
Strategic Action:
This may surprise you, but I immediately put my client on a sales ban. What was integral to reaching her next level was creating space to be intentional with her offers – ensuring she was paid well and left room to scale. This client is incredible at taking action, and I knew that action needed to be strategically directed to achieve her goals. With a well-nurtured and warm Instagram audience, we worked together to create new offers in her product suite that aligned with her vision: making more money while creating more space and freedom. We decided on a new price point for her 1:1 services that felt exciting and exclusive. She increased her rates sixfold. I supported her in crafting the messaging and marketing needed to sell at this elevated price. With the cash injection from a high-ticket client, she was able to focus on developing her first group programme, transitioning from 1:1 to 1:many. With these new offers in place and her feeling aligned and excited, we mapped out her launch strategy. I helped her design a warm-up event to move leads from cold to hot and ready to buy. Together, we clarified an irresistible marketing message for both her warm-up event (to maximise sign-ups and grow her email list) and her group programme. The result? She filled her first group programme, making £17k! With more time on her hands and consistent recurring revenue, we began working on medium-ticket self-study offerings she could run ads to, as well as a low-ticket offer, which attracted over 100 sign-ups.
The Results:
My client doubled her sales in the first six months of us working together and is now making over £6,000 in recurring monthly revenue. She has renewed her contract for another six months, and we are now focused on doubling her sales again by growing her audience, raising her profile, optimising her evergreen funnels, and using ads to increase traffic.
